Blocking and reporting

Last updated November 5, 2026

How to stop a member contacting you, how to report content that breaks the law or our rules, what happens after a report, and how to reach us when nothing else fits.

Blocking a member

You block a person from a conversation with them. The Block button, with their name, is on:

  • an applicant's page, when you review applications for a company you belong to;
  • an enquiry conversation, whichever side of it you are on, as long as the other side is a person rather than a company.

Choose it and confirm. Their enquiries and messages stop reaching you, and their conversations leave your lists. They are not told.

What a block does not do:

  • It does not delete anything. The conversations you already had are kept, and both of you can still read them.
  • It does not stop them applying to your company's jobs. Their application stays out of your list and your inbox, but the other people who hire for the company still see it.
  • It does not hide your public pages from them, or theirs from you.
  • It is not a report. If they broke our rules, report the message as well.

Your blocks are listed under Blocked members in Workspace → Privacy. Choose Unblock to let someone contact you again.

Reporting content

Every job, company page, profile and offering has a report link at the bottom of its page. Signed in, choose Report and pick a reason: spam, scam or fraud, inappropriate content, misleading or inaccurate, illegal content, or something else. You can add details. In a conversation, each message from the other side has its own Report message link.

A person on our team reviews every report, and hides the content if it breaks the law or our Terms of Service.

Illegal content needs no account. Signed out, choose Report illegal content; signed in, choose Report and the reason Illegal content. The form asks what the EU Digital Services Act asks a notice to contain: which law you believe the content breaks and why, and a statement that you believe in good faith that what you tell us is accurate and complete. Without an account, your name and email address are optional — give your email if you want to hear back, and leave both out if your notice is about child sexual abuse material. We delete them six months after our decision.

Hearing back. We email you when your report arrives, and again once we have decided: whether we hid the content, and that a person on our team made the call. Signed in, the emails go to your account's address; without an account, only to the address you gave, if you gave one. If you disagree with the decision, write to the address it gives within six months and tell us why, and a person will look at it again.

If we hide your content

When we hide something of yours, nobody else can see it: it leaves listings, search and its own page. You get an email and a notification that link to our decision, which says what we did, why, which part of the Terms of Service it relies on, and that a person decided it. If we suspend your account, you cannot sign in while it lasts.

If you think we got it wrong, reply to the email about the decision, or write to us through the contact form, within six months and tell us why. We review it, typically within 14 days, and either reverse the decision or explain in writing why it stands.

Our point of contact

For anything the forms do not cover, and for authorities of the EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, our single point of contact is legal@jobpuul.com. Write in English or Czech; a person reads every message. The same address is on the Report illegal content page in the footer, and in section 1.5 of the Terms of Service.

Getting help

For a question, a problem or an idea, use the Contact link in the footer. It reaches a person.

Still stuck? Get in touch and a human will read it.
