Getting started

Your workspace

Last updated November 5, 2026

The workspace is your own area of JobPuul: your profile, applications, enquiries, listings and settings in one place. This article covers how to get there and what each section holds.

Getting there

  • On a computer, use the account menu at the top right — the button with your initial. It lists every section below; Workspace opens the overview, and Sign out is at the bottom.
  • On a phone, tap Me in the bar along the bottom. Inside the workspace, the sections run as a row of tabs across the top that you can scroll sideways.

The bell in the header opens Workspace → Notifications from any page. A dot on it means something is unread.

Your first visit

The first time you sign in — through the link in your confirmation email, or with an account such as Google — you land on a page that asks what you came to do:

  1. Get found for work opens your profile, so employers and clients can find you.
  2. Hire someone opens a new job. A job belongs to a company, so without one you are asked to create a company and verify its domain first.
  3. Offer a service opens a new service listing.

Or choose Skip for now. Whichever you pick, the page does not come back: everything on it is always in the workspace.

The overview

Workspace → Overview shows the address you are signed in with, and buttons for New job, New company and New service. Below them:

  • Active jobs — for each of your companies, how many published jobs it has against its limit, with Limit reached when it is full. Without a company you see Hiring? instead.
  • Active services — the same for the services you offer as yourself and for each company. With neither a saved profile nor a company, Set up your profile takes you to your profile.
  • Counts that link to the work: Open applications and New enquiries, plus Drafts and New applicants once you belong to a company.

What the limits are is in Free tier and limits. Sign out sits at the bottom of the overview, which is where you find it on a phone.

The sections

Companies, Jobs and Applicants appear only once you belong to a company, in any role. Every other section is there for everyone.

  • Notifications — everything that happened on your applications and enquiries, newest first, with Mark all read. See Notifications and email.
  • Companies — the companies you belong to and your role in each. See Creating a company and Company members.
  • Jobs — every job across your companies: drafts, live listings and closed ones. See Posting a job.
  • Applicants — everyone who applied to your companies' jobs, in one list. See Reviewing applicants.
  • Services — everything you offer, as yourself and for your companies, drafts included. See Offering services.
  • Profile — how you appear to people on JobPuul. See Your profile.
  • My applications — every role you have applied to, with its live status. See Applying for a job.
  • Saved jobs — jobs you bookmarked with Save job on a listing or its page, up to 200.
  • Enquiries — everything you have asked providers about, and everything people have asked you. See Enquiries.
  • Security — passkeys, two-factor authentication, your password and where you are signed in. See Sign-in and security.
  • Email — which notification emails we send you, and the address you sign in with.
  • Privacy — download a copy of your data, delete your account, and the members you have blocked. See Privacy and your data and Blocking and reporting.

A few pages have no entry of their own and open from a link in an email instead — an invitation to join a company, for example. They open inside the workspace too.

Only you see it

Every page here is private to you: search engines do not index it, and signed out, any workspace link takes you to the sign-in page first and back afterwards.
