A company page is where a business's jobs and services live. This article covers creating one, what its page and the companies directory show, editing it, and closing it.
Create one
- In your Workspace, choose New company.
- Enter the Company name.
- Enter the Company domain — a bare domain such as
example.com, the one you will prove you control. Public email providers such as Gmail are not accepted. - Choose the Country the company is registered in, and optionally its Website.
- Choose Create company.
You become its owner, and you land on the company's page in your workspace. From then on it is under Workspace → Companies, with your role in it.
Verify it next
If the address you sign in with is at the company's domain, and you confirmed it through a link we emailed, the company is verified as soon as you create it. Otherwise the workspace page shows a Verify your domain panel.
Until the company is verified you can save drafts and edit its page, but it cannot publish jobs or services, and nobody else can join it. Verifying a company explains the three ways to prove the domain.
The company page
The company's public page exists from the moment you create it, verified or not. It shows:
- the name and logo, and the Verified badge once the domain is proved;
- the domain, the country, the description and a link to the website;
- a General enquiry section, where anyone signed in can write to the company — see Enquiries;
- Open positions: its published jobs;
- Services offered: its published service listings.
Members of the company see Manage in workspace at the top instead of the enquiry form.
The companies directory
Companies lists every company, verified or not, newest first. Each card shows the country, the size, how many jobs are open, and the categories of the services it offers. You can narrow it with:
- Search companies: its name and description;
- Skills: the skills its published jobs and service listings carry;
- Country and Size;
- Offers services in: a service category;
- Hiring now: only companies with an open job;
- Verified only: only companies that have proved their domain.
A company does not choose its categories or skills: they come from what it publishes, so they stay true.
Editing the company
Open the company under Workspace → Companies. Owners and company admins can change its name, About the company, the website, Company size and the logo, then choose Save changes.
Only an owner can change the domain, and changing it removes the verified badge until the new domain is verified. Until then the company cannot publish new jobs or services.
Owners also manage the company's Addresses: its registered address, its billing address and its office.
Who can do what is set by each member's role — see Company members.
Posting jobs and services as the company
Every member — owner, company admin or recruiter — can post jobs and service listings for the company. The company's workspace page has Manage jobs and Manage services; when you create a job or a service, pick the company as the one offering it.
- Jobs: Posting a job.
- Services: Offering services.
Closing a company
An owner can close the company from the Close company section at the bottom of its workspace page. Closing closes all of its jobs, hides its page and removes every member and invitation. Its service listings disappear with the page. Applicants keep their applications. It cannot be undone.
If you only want to stop being responsible for it, hand it over instead — see Company members.
